The thing that strikes me the most about my internship at Interfaith is that they give back a lot more than I thought. I was moving around furniture that we are going to give to people in need and we had so much to give out for free. I would have never thought something like this exists if I didn't come here. What strikes me most about my colleagues is that they are pretty nice people and they seem dedicated to their work which is a good thing. The job I am doing is moving furniture to people's homes that are in need so that they can have something they might have never had before in their lives. I think that this job was something that I didn't really picture doing in the beginning so all of it surprised me. I feel good giving back and it surprises me how much they give back. I got to work in the pantry also and it was cool because I got to stock up and work with new people who showed me how to do it. Everyone seems really nice here and I look forward to meeting new people. I am excited to see what my month will contain and who I will meet along with the people we will be helping. I am worried about not doing enough and I hope that when I feel I am doing my best that they think the same so that they do not get disappointed in me and I get confused.
